"This course was developed in a knowledge mobilisation project, supported by the HEAD Foundation https://headfoundation.org/home-page/, aimed to empower the teachers in the Lao’s People Democratic Republic to teach students with Autism Spectrum Disorder in the local schools. This project is led by researchers in Universiti Sains Malaysia, University of Nottingham-Malaysia, and Souphanouvong University, who designed and developed the content of this course, while the visual materials in this course were produced by Seed Design Studio and Hafeez.H Visual Arts. Effectiveness of this course was tested with more than 500 in-service and pre-service teachers in Lao PDR and Malaysia. The findings were published in prestigious journal in the field of autism research - Autism (Impact Factor 5.689)."
